Joy's Gift Shop is located in the heart of the historic Bay Front section in Hilo, Hawaii. We sell local crafts, sarongs, clothing, imports, jewelry, ukuleles, and have items made of Koa, Rosewood, Mango, and coconut palm wood.
We opened our doors on July 5, 2006. Before that we had a small shop in Honomu (near Akaka Falls) and we were selling crafts at the Hilo Farmer's Market every Wednesday and Saturday.
We are very proud of our shop and regularly receive compliments on the low prices, quality and beauty of our products. Joy's Gift Shop has been built on the philosophy, "Keep the mark-up low so that we make a little profit and the customer gets a good deal."
